Priceband : $500-$1000

Vixen Japan's modern redesign of the classic Maksutov-Cassegrain optical system has resulted in an outstanding compact telescope by replacing the full aperture corrector lens with a unique secondary mirror and lens assembly.

The VMC110L optics offer a faster f9.7 focal ratio (traditional Maksutovs are f13-15) and improved sharpness and contrast without any colour fringing. The performance of the VMC110L rivals many higher priced ED refractors.

The telescope optical tube is easily removed from the mount for transport or for use as a landscape spotting scope with the optional erecting prism on a photographic tripod.

The AZGT goto mount features a 43,000 object database, sidereal, lunar and solar tracking and can be interfaced to your laptop or computer with third party software if required. It is powered by 8 x AA batteries (not supplied) or an external 12V AC or DC power source (available at extra cost)
